By iHigh Admin of Great American Rivalry Series

This game was not only about a long standing Rivalry and walking away with the USAF Great American Rivalry Series trophy this game also secured either team a spot in the play offs. Tension was high before the game event started with much press surrounding this event. Sports writers around the area predicted that Tyler Lee would be victorious. .

Despite media predictions John Tyler was not going down without a fight and stayed close to Tyler Lee in the first quarter. By halftime the score was 21-6 Lee and eventually Lee won the game with the score 28-12.

Backfield defense was key in the victory on Friday night and they kept JT from making a late game comeback, as they have been known to do. Chase Wiley, the USAF Great American Rivalry Series MVP, rushed for 126 yard and 12 carries showing everyone at the game why he was chosen MVP.
